About InFocus™ Integrated Design and Technology

Superior Sound Quality

At the heart of the PAC hearing instrument is a state-of-the-art digital sound processor. In fact, the sound processor on SeboTek’s newest hearing instrument, the PAC Voice-Q 721, is designed to deliver 42 million instructions per second (compared to only 3 to 4 million in most other premium digital instruments).

The SeboTek PAC™ VQ-721

Results of study in which satisfied hearing aid wearers were asked to compare the sound quality of their current instruments with the SeboTek PAC.

The result is cleaner, clearer sound; even better features, including IntelliSound™ 128 Channel Adaptive Noise Reduction and AFX™ Adaptive Feedback Cancellation.

Whether in conversation, listening to someone speak, enjoying your favorite music, or simply taking in the sounds of nature, no other device can match the quality, breadth and depth of sound delivered by the SeboTek PAC hearing instrument.

For starters, SeboTek’s InFocus design increases the efficiency of sound transmission by reducing the volume required between the speaker outlet and the tympanic membrane, more like normal ear canal and pinna resonance.

Ear Canal Volume

The PAC's proper positioning reproduces more realistic and natural sound without distortion, reduced dynamic range or limited bandwidth.

No other device can compare. This proper positioning of the speaker closer to the tympanic membrane eliminates occlusion effect, and increases gain naturally to produce the right sound pressure. The result is more realistic, natural sound without distortion, feedback, reduced dynamic range or limited bandwidth. No distortion, increased headroom and outstanding fidelity.

Instrument Style makes a difference.

When compared to other hearing instrument styles only the PAC reproduces natural ear resonance. Peaks in the response curve can cause feedback and distortion. Only the PAC delivers amplified sound that appears natural, with no feedback and virtually no distortion. The frequency response curves shown above were obtained using the same microphone and digital processor in different hearing aid styles.

The PAC is also the only device that offers an extended frequency range from 100 Hz to 14,000 Hz – more closely matching the range of natural hearing than any other device offered today.

SeboTek’s proprietary InFocus design also makes it the only hearing instrument that, when compared to others, better mirrors natural human ear resonance to deliver amplified sound without feedback or distortion.

And, the Ultra Soft Tip, designed to hold the receiver in place, also provides a dynamic seal that moves with the ear canal while eliminating feedback and other bothersome noise.
