Our Mission

Simply put, SeboTek's mission is to improve the quality of life for those with hearing loss by establishing the PAC as the preferred hearing instrument style worldwide.

As the first to introduce modular speaker-in-the-canal technology in early 2003, the Lord has helped us make great progress in that regard. Yet, with more than 500 million people worldwide who suffer from some level of hearing loss—many in locations where fitting and servicing a more traditional hearing instrument may be difficult, if not impossible—our mission remains a critical one.

 

Our Vision

It's a fact that every day millions of people who could benefit from hearing instruments suffer needlessly from the effects of hearing loss. It's also a fact that the reason many have gone untreated is because traditional hearing aids have failed to meet their needs and desires. Historically, some 80% have foregone treatment all-together. These facts are what has challenged SeboTek to find better ways—to create better solutions.

It's also a fact that the time involved in fitting traditional hearing aids and overcoming comfort and other fit-related issues is extensive, costly for hearing care professionals, and significantly limits the number of people they are able to serve. In fact, before the introduction of SeboTek's PAC-style hearing instrument, nearly all hearing aid fittings required a traditional plastic ear mold, which resulted in a second fitting appointment for the patient and multiple follow-up visits for adjustments.

By establishing the PAC as the preferred hearing instrument style worldwide, our vision is that more people will seek help, hearing care professionals will be able to treat more people, and the overall customer experience will be dramatically improved.

At SeboTek, we're thankful that we've not only introduced a new technology that's more comfortable, more convenient, and more cosmetically appealing to consumers, but that this technology has also resulted in a more efficient way for hearing care professionals to run their practices. Today, speaker-in-the-canal hearing instruments that allow a single visit evaluation and fitting for patients are the fastest growing style being fit worldwide.
